В начале сентября рука вдруг начинает тянуться к одеколонам – и не зря, ведь именно сейчас, в прохладном воздухе, они звучат замечательно. Второй день ношу Bigarade Concentrée (2002) из Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle и восхищаюсь мастерством парфюмера Жан-Клода Эллена. Первая и главная ассоциация – цветник с чернобрывцами (бархатцами). Цитрусовые аккорды соединяются с розовой водой и специями, рождая яркий и при этом деликатный аромат кустов и клумб. Подчеркнутая позднее роза здесь одновременно лимонная и мармеладная. Парфюм не скучный, так как свежесть живых цветов и апельсина в нем красиво дополнена запахом засушенных лепестков.

Bigarade Concentrée будто создан для переходов. Не только от тепла к прохладе, но и от ночи к утру, словно его смысл – напоминать о ласковом солнце и освежающих травяных напитках. К тому же парфюмерная композиция содержит едва уловимые ноты меда и пива, которые также погружают в атмосферу уходящего лета, сезона сбора урожая, тепла, уюта и маленьких гастрономических радостей.

A Breath of Autumn

At the beginning of September, I suddenly find myself reaching for colognes – and for good reason, as they unfold beautifully in the cool air. I’ve been wearing Bigarade Concentrée (2002) by Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle for two days now, marvelling at the mastery of perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena. My first and foremost association is a garden full of marigolds. Citrus accords blend with rosewater and spices, creating a vibrant yet delicate scent of lush greenery and flowerbeds. The rose, which becomes more pronounced later on, is simultaneously lemony and jammy. The perfume is far from boring, as the freshness of orange and living blossoms is beautifully complemented by the aroma of dried petals.

Bigarade Concentrée feels as if it were made for transitions – not only from warm weather to cool, but also from night to morning, as though its purpose were to conjure up the gentle sun and refreshing herbal drinks. Moreover, the composition features subtle notes of honey and beer, which also capture the essence of late summer, the harvest season, warmth, comfort, and simple gastronomic joys.

Fleur d’Interdit Givenchy (1994) – интересная попытка привлечь молодежную аудиторию к теме цветочного шипра. Все, что вошло в моду в то время, – свежесть кондиционированного воздуха, арбузы, дыни и слегка пластиковые персики, хорошая диффузность аромата, – налицо и сразу. Но вместе с атрибутами 90х, здесь классически сделанные фрезия и жасмин, аккуратные гардения и фиалка, заметный мох. Всего достаточно, и при этом богатство вполне носибельное. Fleur d’Interdit создан для офиса и про атмосферу офиса – разумеется, если место это симпатичное и клиентов угощают клубникой. А самое приятное, что аромат, будучи легким, очень стойкий – и заканчивается не коктейлем из мускусов, а персиковым мхом в отголосках цветов.

Pretty neutral

Fleur d’Interdit Givenchy (1994) is an interesting attempt to attract young people to the floral chypre theme. Everything that came into fashion at that time – the freshness of conditioned air, watermelons, melons and slightly plastic peaches, good aroma diffusion – are here right away. But along with the attributes of the 90s, there are classically made freesia and jasmine, neat gardenias and violet, noticeable moss. It should have been enough for you, while this wealth is quite wearable. Fleur d’Interdit is created for the office and about the office atmosphere – of course, if the place is pretty, with strawberries in a meeting room. And the best part is that the fragrance, being light, is very persistent – and ends not with a cocktail of musks, but with a peach moss in echoes of flowers.
