Не имея возможности готовить, мы с сыном наконец-то съели экзотический фрукт, который приберегли заранее, и я хотела бы отметить, что это действительно изысканное блюдо. На мой вкус и обоняние, помело сочетает в себе оттенки апельсина, грейпфрута и ананаса. Позже я также нанесла на кожу духи с ароматом помело — Pomélo Paradis (2015) от Atelier Cologne, — и да, они воспроизводят этот аромат, но придают ему свою собственную интерпретацию (более сладкий и мясистый, чем тот фрукт, который мы ели). Кроме того, мне кажется, они открываются ароматом юзу.

C Pomélo Paradis знакомлюсь с удовольствием – и отмечаю, что простые решения тоже работают. Но особенно нравится картинка образца (прочитала на сайте компании, что совладелица марки Сильви Гантер увлекается дизайном интерьеров).

Unable to cook, my son and I finally ate the exotic fruit we had saved up earlier and I’d like to note that this food is truly the most delicate. To my taste and sense of smell, pomelo combines orange, grapefruit and pineapple nuances. Later, I also sprayed a pomelo-themed perfume on my skin, – Pomélo Paradis (2015) by Atelier Cologne, – and yes, it reproduces the scent, but gives it its own interpretation (sweeter and fleshier than the fruit we had). Plus, it opens, I think, with the aroma of yuzu.

I’m delighted to meet Pomélo Paradis – and note that sometimes very simple solutions work. Grapefruit juice and peel, rose alcohol, blackcurrant, and toffee, all on a subtle base with the addition of vetiver. But I especially like the sample picture (there is information on the company’s website that the co-owner of the brand, Sylvie Ganter, is fond of interior design).

Лимитированный Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic Harvest (2023) by Guerlain открывается освежающим ароматом зеленого чая и мандариновой кожуры, но быстро дает понять, что является, наряду с рожденным годом ранее братишкой Aqua Allegoria Forte Mandarine Basilic парфюмом гурманским. Тональность урожайной версии, однако, выше, а характер светлее. Мандариновый и грушевый соки текут по легчайшей поверхности безе, а оттеняет великолепие листик базилика.

Мало того, из версии Forte сюда перескочили сахарные драже, добавляя и вкус, и цвет (белый). С первых и до последних минут аромат напоминает радостное ощущение от раннего утра в доме, белых занавесок на кухне и льющегося из окна света. Вот с этим мягким обволакивающим потоком и смешиваются в парфюме воздушные цитрусовые и зеленые “ноты”, аромат чая и запах пророщенных зерен. Это красиво и продумано. Гедонизм и праздник урожая.

Limited Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic Harvest (2023) by Guerlain opens with a refreshing aroma of green tea and soft tangerine peel, but quickly makes it clear that it is, along with its brother Aqua Allegoria Forte Mandarine Basilic born a year earlier, a gourmet perfume. The tone of the harvest version, however, is higher, and the character is lighter. Tangerine and pear juices flow over the lightest surface of the meringue, and a basil leaf sets off the magnificence.

Moreover, sugar dragees have jumped here from the Forte version, adding both taste and color (white). From the first to the last minutes, the scent resembles the joyful feeling of an early morning at home, white curtains in the kitchen and the light pouring in from the window. It is with this soft enveloping flow that airy citrus and green “notes”, the aroma of tea and the smell of sprouted grains are mixed in the perfume. It’s beautiful and thoughtful.
