Выпущенный в 2013 году Nocturnes de Caron вызывает противоречивые чувства. Зная, как пахнут винтажные духи, новому выпуску трудно простить отсутствие волнующего раскрытия цветов. Однако, в нем есть другие интересные особенности.

Парфюмер Ришар Фрейсс взболтал альдегиды с цитрусовыми в мощную пену шампанского. Получилось и бодро, и романтично, и аллергично – в первые секунды непременно хочется чихнуть. Спустя какое-то время шампанское превращается в абстрактный кофейный коктейль, что тоже очень мило, если не ожидать цветы. И только с раскрытием сандалово-ветиверной базы наконец хочется воскликнуть: вот теперь, Ноктюрн, я тебя узнаю! (хотя похож он здесь, скорее, на туалетные воды выпусков середины нулевых).

Ришару Фрейссу гурманские ароматы удаются отлично. Поэтому нет особого смысла привязываться к тому, что Ноктюрн-2013 – уже не про игру сумеречных теней, а про праздник, который всегда в бутылке. А кроме того, этот аромат, вероятно, лучший в серии La Sélection.

Shall we go for a drink?

Released in 2013 Nocturnes de Caron evokes quite mixed feelings. It is difficult to forgive the lack of flowers’ exciting disclosure knowing the smell of the vintage parfum. However, there are other interesting features in the new eau de parfum.

Perfumer Richard Fraysse has shaked aldehydes with citruses into a powerful foam of champagne. The result is cheerful, romantic, and allergic simultaneously – in the first seconds someone may want to sneeze. After a while the champagne turns into an abstract coffee cocktail, which is also very nice if you don’t expect the bouquet of flowers. A sandalwood and vetiver base that completes the whole holiday, makes it a little restrained. At this stage you may want to exclaim : Now, Nocturnes, I recognize you! (although it resembles more eau de toilette concentrations of the mid-00’s)

Richard Fraysse’s gourmet perfumes are worked out perfectly. And it makes little sense to concentrate on the fact that the 2013 issue of Nocturnes is not about the twilight shadows game – but about the holiday that is always in the bottle. Besides, this fragrance seems to be the best in La Sélection series.
