Vanille de Tahiti by Perris Monte Carlo, – парфюм, добавленный в коллекцию как приятный летний легкомысленно гурманский, – в студеную зимнюю военную пору не могу передать, насколько удивил. Подразнив яркой и маслянистой плюмерией, а также знакомым тропическим илангом, – духи озадачили плотным, жарким, шерстяным и “деревяшистым”, сельским и печным “гулом”. Вот так гламур, вот так экзотика … занервничала я. Не будучи свидетелем кулинарных пристрастий таитян, могу представить только наши северные ресторанчики а-ля пицца на дровах, ни с какой ванилью не рифмующиеся. Но оставим этот вопрос до смены погодного сезона открытым.

За “дровами” можно разглядеть глазированные творожные сырки со сгущенным молоком, а также стебли не распознанных растений. В самом начале путешествия ощущались и засахаренные персики. Время от времени нос улавливает гвоздику. При желании можно представить и горячий песок пляжей острова. Сама ваниль здесь черная, маслянистая и сдержанно шоколадная: какой мы ее знали – и не знали.

Vanille de Tahiti by Perris Monte Carlo, added to the collection as a pleasant summer frivolously gourmet perfume, was not recognized like that in the cold winter wartime. Teasing with bright and oily plumeria, as well as with the familiar tropical ylang, the perfume puzzled me with dense, hot, woolen and “woody”, even somehow rural and oven “hum”. I got nervous about such strange glamour and exotic … Not being a witness to the culinary tastes of the Tahitians, I can only imagine our northern restaurants a la wood-fired pizza, which are not associated with any vanilla yet. But let’s leave this question open until the change of the weather season.

Behind the “firewood” you can see glazed cottage cheese curds with condensed milk, as well as stems of unknown plants. At the very beginning of the journey, candied peaches were felt also. From time to time, the nose catches a carnation. The hot sand of the beaches of the island can be imagined at will. The vanilla itself here is black, buttery and discreetly chocolatey. It is just like we knew it – and still might find out a lot.
