Роза и уд – это классическое сочетание, или избитое? Мы формируем мнение по вопросу, знакомясь с очередными флориентальными духами про жизнь сладкой парочки, часто еще и с одноименным названием. Парфюмер Патрисия Николаи свой розовый уд разнообразила контрастом модной малины и классического османтуса. Можно даже предположить, что последние и являются главными героями пьесы.

Как восхитительна малина на десерт (вместо ужина) в жаркие летние дни – и как она же бывает некстати в парфюмерных композициях, внося какую-то заурядность, что ли. В Rose Oud Patricia de Nicolaï малину добавили, наверное, для того, чтобы мы не сошли с ума от красоты османтуса. Последний устраивает вместе с розой и специями великолепное шоу, которое, к счастью, может длиться долго. А Уд здесь лицо подчиненное и зависимое – его дело создавать нижний слегка промасленный слой дерева, в целом ничем не примечательный, но комфортный.

Я не нашла в Rose Oud драйва Secret Oud Caron, таинственности Oud by Caron, калейдоскопа кулинарных развлечений Mohur Neela Vermeire Creations, но композицию Патрисии Николаи хочется отнести к этой компании за щекотание нервов любителям тонких цветочных ароматов. При этом Rose Oud в этом ряду самый лаконичный и понятный. И еще он понравится вашим не самым озабоченным парфюмерией подругам.

Rose and oud – is it a classic composition or a cliche? We form our opinion on the issue getting to know another floriental fragrance about sweet couple’s life. Perfumer Patricia Nicolaï enlivens her rose oud with trendy raspberry contrasting with classical osmanthus. It is even possible to presume that the last two are the main characters of the play.

How delicious raspberries can be for dessert (instead of late dinner) on hot summer days – and how inappropriate they can be in perfumery compositions introducing to them some kind of mediocrity. It is likely that raspberries were added to Rose Oud Patricia de Nicolaï to prevent us from going mad with the beauty of osmanthus. The latter together with rose and spices makes a magnificent show, which, fortunately, can last a long time. And oud here is a subordinate and dependent subject – its job is to create a bottom layer of lightly oiled wood, generally unremarkable but comfortable.

I have not found in Rose Oud the drive of Secret Oud Caron, nor a mystery of Oud by Caron or a kaleidoscope of culinary entertainment of Mohur Neela Vermeire Creations, but the composition of Patricia Nicolaï may be attributed to this company thanks to it tickling nerves of fine floral scents lovers. Having said that, Rose Oud in this range is the most neat and clear. Besides, your friends, who are not very much into perfumery, will surely like it.
